Providing Hope

When we hear stories of recovery, we're reminded that it is possible to overcome addiction. These stories offer hope and inspiration, reminding us that there is a way out of the darkness and back to a fulfilling life.

Reducing Shame

Storytelling in addiction can also help reduce shame associated with addiction. By sharing their stories, individuals can confront their demons head-on, shedding light on the stigma surrounding addiction and encouraging others to do the same.

Healing through vulnerability

Sharing our stories requires vulnerability, which is a crucial aspect of healing. When we open up about our struggles, we create a space for healing to begin. This vulnerability can lead to greater self-awareness, personal growth, and ultimately, recovery

A Trudging Together Podcast!

Our podcast is different because we center the conversation around the speaker, not the host. While many podcasts focus on the perspective and personality of the host, we believe in giving the space and the spotlight to the voices of our guests. Each episode is an opportunity for the speaker to share their story, their experiences, and their insights without any interruptions or distractions from a host-driven narrative. This approach allows for a deeper, more authentic connection to emerge.

For the past seven years, I’ve been going live every day, offering a steady, supportive presence through The Daily Trudge. Each day, I read from a wide range of 12-step literature, guiding listeners into their day with wisdom and insight from these time-tested principles. It’s a ritual I’ve maintained, and I believe it’s the perfect way to start the day—centered, grounded, and filled with encouragement.

To Thine Own Self Be True

Responsible For Our Resources!

Being responsible for your resources means using your time, energy, and knowledge in a way that is intentional and thoughtful, ensuring that everything you offer is valuable and beneficial to others. It's about being mindful of how you share your resources, ensuring they are aligned with your values and that they contribute to the greater good. This approach is rooted in integrity and care, and it builds trust with those you serve.

When resources are vetted and trusted, they become more than just tools—they become a foundation upon which others can rely. By focusing on mutual objectives, especially when meeting others where they are at, you create a space of true understanding and support. This means recognizing and respecting where each person is in their journey, and offering resources that are meaningful and accessible to them, rather than imposing one-size-fits-all solutions.
